Webinar shines light on growing loyalty and long term support

Updated: Oct 12, 2022

How can showing gratitude to supporters help improve results?

How do you get the right balance between asking for more support and growing loyalty?

What is the best way to keep momentum when looking to grow loyalty?

All these questions and many more besides were answered during our Loyalty Lightning Talks webinar last week.

Run in partnership with the Showcase of Fundraising Innovation and Inspiration (SOFII), the webinar saw an hour of inspirational and engaging first hand experiences looking at how growing loyalty can grow long term support and income.

Please take a bow Natasha Evans of Diabetes UK, Jenifer Brazier of Mind, Sarah Maltby of Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and Sarah Haine, of The Leprosy Mission England and Wales, who all did a brilliant job talking about how taking action to grow loyalty can grow income.

And also a big thank you to SOFII chair, Meredith Niles, who opened proceedings by discussing the importance of supporter experience and charities working together and sharing insights.

From then on, the virtual floor went to each charity to share stories, lessons and experiences about the steps taken to grow loyalty.

Top tips included:

  • How you show gratitude and say thank you has a direct impact on improving loyalty – and your results.

  • A good thank you has to be a balance between the supporter, beneficiary and charity.

  • Find allies within your organisation who are willing to think about things in a different way.
